Saddle Shy

My girl was going bald so I put a saddle on her to keep the roo from pulling out any more feathers. She keeps dropping to the ground as if she thinks the roo is on her, and now she won't even come out of the coop. Will it just take time for her to 'get used to it'?

Yes, some hens it takes longer then others for them to get use to it.

One of my girls it took two days! I felt bad leaving it one her, but after that she was fine and acted as if it was never on her. The same thing happens every time I re- put it on her.

Deuteronomy 32:11
He is like an eagle that stirs up its nest. It hovers over it little ones. It spreads out it wings to catch them on its feathers.
