Yeah, I told my husband I just saw lightning, and he said no way because it was snowing so much. Seconds later, the thunder followed. I've been here about 9 years or so and that's the first I had ever seen it. Unfortunetly it's picking up again. I really had hoped it had some how passed. Doesn't look like we're going to make it to Elmo tomorrow. It's not till 2 so I'll just keep my fingers crossed that Monument isn't too bad!!!

Had thundersnow here a couple weeks ago, and again today. Love it

has slowed down a lot lately here in town, streets are pretty much clear (plowed) and unless the temps drop a lot it's going to melt one inch for every 2 that comes down. Still hovering right around 32...

Anyone else getting nailed today! We are in a real blizzard today... the wind finally showed up with lots of snow. It's a real Colorado snow storm! We may not get out till next week now.... then, with the high temps it's all going to turn to MUD!!!

Gotta love Colorado weather.

It is just cold and windy down in the Fountain Valley. We only got a couple of inches of snow. It couldn't decide whether it wanted to rain or snow yesterday.
 
We got snow all day yesterday. From big fluffy flakes to big, wet, soak ya if ya run out to the coop flakes

And now its doing something in between. But we got about 8 inches yesterday. Oh well, the grass will be green

Not sure on the totals, but the snow accumulation here is impressive!

I am not sure when we will get out of our driveway. It might be a while. But it is just gorgeous outside. I love a spring storm.....expecially when it has been so dry!
 
Looks like snow to me. We got 3' drifts in our drive. I threw some flock feeder on the ground for the wild birds. The cats look hungry.
