We also started about 3pm and went for several hours. We definitely needed it  wee.gif

I put my 6 little duckers and 1 baby gooser in early though. I let them get the feel of the rain for awhile then put them in their kennel in the barn to dry off and warm up.  The rest of the water fowl were in heaven though.  Even some of the chickens came out to forage around the wet greenery aka weeds.  I love days like this.  I'd rather have cooler, wet days than blue sky skorchers.

Me too. It gets too hot when there are NO clouds in the sky.

I notice you are in Brighton... We were in Ft Lupton 3 weeks ago for the Heritage Fair, doing the Revolutionary War encampment. Went to the store in Brighton to get some supplies that had been left home..........

I would be happy if every warm summer day was followed by a cool rainy day.

Billings Montana...very hot August days followed by cool thunderstorms almost each afternoon; 30 minutes of hard rain with a wonderful light show; then nice cool evenings.

the rain started here around 3p too and was still going when i went to bed around 1030p.  Not sure how long it lasted after that. Now today is 63 with a cool wind. My kids don't like that too much. lol. They told me its too cold for it to be the last day of school
