New to laying, problems or normal?

I purchased a Lavender Orph, which was already laying, But she still looks young, she could have just started laying. She layed a small size light brown with spots egg. But very thin shelled and smaller than I thought it would be. What size do they lay, will they get any larger?

If its young and an orpington then yes the ggs will get bigger. If they are thin shelled then they are not getting enough calcium. I dont know if you have been given them supplements like crushed up oyster shell but its very helpfull

Thank you, I just bought her Friday and I don't know if she had any oyster shell but we set out some for her. She layed today, still very thin and small. But she has her OS now. She does look young. One of the reasons I pick out her. And she's beautiful!
