Wanted:
few eggs for unbreakable broody

Will Ship To: Anywhere

I am in Spartanburg, SC.  Have a broody I have tried to break in EVERY way listed on this site to no avail.  Had her on 3 eggs for 10 days only to have them eaten by a snake.  Would like to purchase just a few eggs of any kind for her to raise. (I realize the eggs won't be $1)

You might try posting on this thread and look for a few young chicks to put under her. You should be able to find someone near you with young chicks that can help out. You are looking for just-hatched chicks. Skip the hatching part altogether.

I had a snake eat the eggs out from under a broody but had some eggs in the incubator. When they hatched, I slipped them under her at night using very little light. She raised them fine.

Hi All!  Thank you so much for the replies!  The situation seems to have panned out well with out the eggs!  I guess the snake scared the broody right out of her!

:)  I was actually thinking of suggesting it to others.  I mean we tried EVERYTHING else that has been suggested on this site!  :)
