Naturally pretty in pink!

I have a pretty unique baby, which was part of a July 2nd Serama hatch. She is silkied, for one thing, and now that she is getting her first set of "real" feathers, they are coming in a soft pinkish buff color...very very distinctly pink looking. The few new feathers over her shoulders are a bit darker, but still a soft terracotta sort of color. I guess she wanted me to know for sure that she is a little GIRL! It will be fun to see what color she matures out to be

Helen: Daria, do you have to look at everything in such a negative light?

Daria: Could you possibly be referring to the harsh light of reality?

Thanks!

Here is a new photo of "her"... suspecting she is a he at this point. He is growing in more darker apricotty feathers and some dark (blue or black) bits.... also adding a blurry pic of his hatchmate Dali (who just wanted to sit on me) and a panicked group shot featuring my pretty black ( maybe chocolate) and white baby
