My foot was asleep and I got up and went up the steps and when I got to the top, my ankle gave out and I fell, twisted my knee, and hit my head on the coffee table! hide.gif My G-ma didn't even hear me, so I lay there for a min. and finally looked; my knee was all skinned up and my ankle is bruised, and it HURTS A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hit.gif

The other day my mom asked if I got her e-mail, I said "no, not yet" she looked disappointed, and said "Oh! I get it, you're too busy on 'backward chickens!" Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!

Put an ice pack on your ankle. Maybe is won't swell. Is your head ok? I'd be more concerned with that!! Concussions are not to be ignored. How hard did you hit your head? You said you laid there for a minute...were you stunned or just sitting there trying to figure out what happened? Make sure you tell your parents or G-Ma what happened so they can keep an eye on you.  hugs.gif  Hope you're ok!!!

And yes, I am a paranoid parent!! gig.gifMy DD gets a papercut and I rush her in the bathroom, wash it, put peroxide on it, mercurochrome it, and THEN put a bandaid on it!!  She's stands there looking at me like...Do I need surgery??  gig.gif

Sorry....one more question:  Do you call your grandma G-Ma? If so, that's what I told my DS to have his 2 little girls call me!!!!! I'd rather be G-Ma than Grandma cause I don't look like a grandma!! gig.gif

Maybe when I'm in my 70's they can call me Grandma. old.gif

WOW!! That's great!!!  My grandmother is 95 I believe. Everyone says her side of the family lives to be over 100. I have personally never met anyone that old. I would love to, though. I bet they have a lot of stories and great memories to tell!

I think that's a fantastic idea. You could keep them in a safe place as well for when you have children. Then they can see and hear what her life was like. My grandmother doesn't want to do anything like that. She is very secretive for some reason. idunno.gif I think the older generations have a lot they can teach us if we just too the time to talk to them. Too many elderly get shoved to the side and ignored. I think that's sad.

If you post them, I would be more than happy to watch them. I don't see me getting to California any time soon..that's a loooonnnnnnggggg drive for me! I'm on the East Coast in West Virginia. The farthest I drive is an hour on the other side of Nashville to my sister's house. Well, that's as far as I have driven for now. I want to expand that!! I would love to see more of the country.

If you can, PM me when you get them up and let me know where they are. Thanks! thumbsup.gif
