Amazing! Chickens like grape.

I've found that my chickens really like eating grapes. Yes, I mean really likelove.gif

oh my gosh! My three chickens are named grape, triplets, because they're obsessed with them!

Yep mine too :-) i cut the grapes in half and they just go to town it's thier favorite treat

Chickens- 3 GLW, 3 Red Stars, 3 White rocks, 1 Blue Andalusian, 2 Australorps, 3 Rhode Island Reds, 2 Welsummers, 1 White Wyandotte, 1 Silver spangled hamburg, 1 Exchequre leghorn, 2 EE, 2 Buff Orpingtons, 1 barnyard mix and a Buff Silkie

(we were going to start small LOL)

 

2 Black Shetland sheep

2 Pygmy goats

3 Pekin ducks

1 (Black) Blue Swedish duck

1 Ball python

2 dogs and 2 cats

Wow, sounds like chickens do have much in common in taste preference.

My chickens love them too.....starts a chicken race every time  lau.gif

1 Silkie Rooster, 1 Bantam Brahma Rooster, 2 Blue Copper Marens Cockerels 1 Banatam Brahma pullet, 7 EE pullets,  4 Silver Laced Wyandottes, 2 barnyard x pullets, 10 Pearl White Leghorn hens, 5 Red Star Hens, 2 dogs, 2 horses, 4 sons, 1 grandson, and....Chicken Math has already taken hold here

Mine also love grapes, but if there are blueberries around, grapes are set aside.

I, too, cut grapes in half for my chickens. If they are roaming around the lawn, dust bathing, or perched somehwere it makes no difference.....they come running! Grapes are THE favorite treat. I must say, though, that one Golden Comet and my Japanese bantam love greens of any kind. They tend to have a tad bit different preferences than the rest of the flock.

Wife of 21 years to a dear husband, mama to 2 children, 3 Golden Comets, 2 Old English Game bantams, 2 Buff Orpingtons, 1 Black Australorp, 1 Golden Laced Wyandotte, 1 bearded Belgian d'Anver, 1 Japanese bantam, 1 budgie, 1 sugar glider, 1 Roborovski hamster, and a feisty Yorkshire terrier
