what is this poor little guy

We got our sexlinks at a day old. added in some buffs and bardrocks, and all of a sudden this guy popped up and we're not sure what he is.  He's brown, not red enough to be a rhode island red, we dont' think.  Anyone have any ideas what this little one is?  They are five weeks old now.

Looks like a hatchery Rhode Island Red if I had to guess. They are lesser quality sometimes and not as dark red.

Looks Like a production red . they are rhode Island reds mostly just not heirtage.

Well, the kittens aren't so cute anymore and the easter egger cockerels are in the freezer. Plus, I think offering them as "prizes" scared folks off! So, I'm still posting quotes, if you know it let me know. I'm very enamored of this new one, it may hang around for a while!

Thanks for all the replies!!  That is what we were leaning towards, but since it's not the classic red we were debating it.

 

I got called a redneck last night by a friend for my explanation of one of our chicks dying, let me explain and see who you agree with.

 

I went to feed the babies one day, while they were still in the totes in the house, and found one dead in the water dish.  I figure it was a mob hit because he was drown.  I said i never could find the cement shoes and Roy said nor could we find the wing cuffs.  and they called me a redneck LOL imagine that?????
