Margaretta  (frizzle Cochin) and Daquiri (white Polish)

Amaretto (a cross - cant remember which! I thought it was Brahma and ?)

And Schnapps in the back. (black Cochin)

I looked at all the caged animals in the barn...the cast-offs of human society. I saw in their eyes love and hope, fear and dread, sadness, and betrayal. And I was angry."God," I said, "this is terrible! Why don't you do something?"God was silent for a moment, and then He spoke softly, "I have done something," he replied.  "I created you."

I really wanted some that were a little older to bring home, but once i held the frizzle and took one look at the polish my heart just swelled. and well, I couldnt leave the other black Cochin alone without her frizzle. I was fine with those, then they brought out the cross and i fell in love.  How old do they look?

i havent had them outside to the tajmahal yet.  I gotta do that today when i get home from work. Split them off a little section of the pen and they have a portion of the coop till they get bigger. They are to small to defend themselves yet, i dont want to put them in together.

you were right, i ended up with what stole my heart, and not what I intended to get. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now I am going to have broody Cochins out the ying yang and a funny haired humoruos comedian.     lol.png

They are all so cute.  I'm jealous, I want a poufy headed chicken, too.  All the Polish and Houdans, etc from hatcheries only come unsexed and I already have enough roosters.
