Waaaa. Both video's come up as "private". :(
 

I think you need to repost the videos, apparently no-one can watch them, when we push play it just goes blank and then says "This video is private."  :(  I really wanted to watch!

Yes, the deep bedding does work for the chickens in winter.  We give the coop a real good scrubbing late summer, and just add more and more pine shavings through the winter.  As long as the top layer is reasonably dry, they do fine.  It is a pain to clean come spring, but it does work well.  The best way to clean up all the layers is to soak it first and then shovel, shovel, but it saves so much effort when it's below zero.  Good luck!

Also, if your eggs are really fresh, like ours right from the hen, add lots of salt to the water and cool them right away.  Peel under cold water.  Loved Honeyma's answer the best tho.  That's the way to do it!!!

Would Honeyma like to maybe talk to schoolkids, like 4th grade and up?  What she has cannot be learned from history books!!!

everytime i click the play button, its says the video is private. what am i doing wrong?  please post on youtube. this is something i would really follow.

Bummer I REALLY wanted to get in on this.  I am so jealous of those got to live in that generation......went from horses and buggys to vehicles that go 200 mph. They got to see it all!

The poster changed the settings of the video on YouTube to 'Private' which only certain people have access .
