These are my first chickens to be my very own. I always spent my chicldhood days in grandma's coop trying to pet her skittish hens, and helping with egg collecting. Now I get to carry on the chicken experience! I have silver laced red wyandottes, black copper marans, lavendar orpingtons, and just added 3 silkies today for fun! I thougt the lavendar color was really pretty, and I hear they are quite rare, so here is them in the "awkward phase"- 3 weeks old. Added a pic of me and my silkies :)
