Hi new to BYC from Toronto!

Thread Starter

Hello, my name is Yas, I'm new to BYC as a 'member' but have gotten a LOT of useful information by you guys showing up in my Google searches. I currently am raising Chukar Partridges I bought the eggs from a farm a couple hours away. I incubated them with my hova bator incubator. I'm a University student and I am new to the whole raising birds thing! I've built a coup for them in my backyard and currently have 28 Chukars, and they are about 2 months old.

For my next project I am really interested in the Serama Chickens, the really small chickens. I find them so beautiful and powerful with their posture and colours.

I hope to learn a lot and provide anyone with any tips that I have learned along the way.

Thanks for reading!

Hi and welcome-byc.gif

Glad to have you here!
Seramas are an awesome breed. There are a couple of big threads in Breeds, Genetics and Showing where people chat about them.
Oh, and congratulations on your chukar hatch woot.gif

I hope you find all the info you need here, and enjoy the site. big_smile.png

Daria: Could you possibly be referring to the harsh light of reality?
