Pebbles Has Gone Broody!

Our Pebbles, a 1yr old Red Sex-Link, has gone Broody! I am fairly surprised because RSL's are not known for their broodiness.

Unfortunately, we don't have a rooster so the eggs won't hatch. But, we are going this Friday to get some fertile bantam eggs from a Friend!

One thing about chickens - there are exceptions to every rule.  Good luck on hatching some bantams.

Yep, she has that look.

Married to the old dude, 0 human kids, 2 horses, 10 cockatiels, 2 parakeets, 1 sun conure, 1 amazon parrot,  1 eccentric peacock, 1 gsd, 1 pet terrapin, 1 Blue Copper Maran rooster, and 14 world famous Jersey Giants!
