I found a lemon blueberry coffee cake recipe that I'm making this week.  I have 3 grocery bags full of Meyer Lemons.:th

Having an Icelandic in the coop is like having a 2 year old in the house - they are into everything and don't follow the rules.

Jucie them and freeze the juice in ice cube trays--then put the cubes into zip lock bags to store in the freezer.

I'd have fresh lemon aid all the time if I could.

Mary's Meyer Lemon Marmalade - I eat that with a spoon, although Meyer lemons are few and expensive up here :(

Home of the world's cutest dachshund, one crazy blue heeler, two cats,
one fat pony, and many (but not too many!) chickens

Can anyone tell me, how many are too many chickens?

Finished repairing and painting the roadside pickup table yesterday! Have two buyers at $115. It has a leaf underneath and a butterfly mechanism to open and close the table. I didn't get a "before" picture but I got this "during" picture. The base was being held together by electrical tape when we found it. Michael took it apart, sanded off the old glue, put new glue and corregated metal connectors. We needed some way to strap it all together while the glue dried, so this my my idea. Exercise bands! I couldn't exercise for almost a day and a half! big_smile.png
