I haven't heard about the fire.

There are multiple fires currently in Southern CA. The heat makes it hard to fight them too.

There was a lot of smoke around Woodland yesterday too--those would be grass fires.

Thanks Ron, I hope everyone is ok.

I found an article about it. The field is about 3 miles north of where I live:

At least no one was hurt. Amazing how they grow so fast.

Smoke up our way last few days but no fires. Scary stuff. Yesterday my daughter-in-law checked the weather where they live near Palm Springs and it was 113 degrees at 10:00 p.m. Today was supposed to be 123 degrees!

They left this morning for Reno. Buddy is in a golf tournament until Friday. I took the time to paint a hutch and finish a massive coffee table.

Both are beautiful.  I would have never thought of a red hutch, but it works, especially with the black hardware.  I love the coffee table, but it doesn't match my living room.

Having an Icelandic in the coop is like having a 2 year old in the house - they are into everything and don't follow the rules.

Nope, Tucker is still bigger than his Deedle Dudes. That is his second one. MIchael bought it for him on Amazon. Here is the first. They both play the same song.
