Drizzle chocolate on it Kathy. Or shaved white chocolate to look like cheese. What the heck, put that thing in a box and mail it to me too!

Mahonri, I checked with my homeowner's insurance and they say they'll cancel me if I allow you on the property during the move. Apparently your name came up on a frequently injured doing routine tasks list. Go figure. Sorry, you'll have to visit later.   frow.gif

I've seriously been thinking about taking a week and a half next summer and driving from Phoenix up the Pacific Coast Highway to Seattle in a rental car and then flying home.... NE California would only be a short detour on the way wouldn't it?

I can't believe I only have 22 chickens at present.  The least I've had in YEARS.  I actually have an empty coop!  Of course I'm only getting about 2-4 eggs a day also... least I've had in years.  Can't remember the last time I've gotten more than 6 eggs in a day.

Well, I don't know how many chickens I have - but I DO know they eat 50 pounds of feed a day. I want to cut down to 100 or less. My oldest grow outs are about at the age I can see who I want to keep and who can go. Some, anyway.  The Delawares - hmmm, they are still too young to pick from! I have to wait on them a while longer.

Downsizing is hard.... for me, anyway!

And I'm ready for a party, only live an hour away!

The difference between breakfast and chicks, is the temperature you use to "cook" the eggs!

What breeds do I have?  More than any sane person would own.

Thanks everyone for nice comments about the goats. My DW sold both of those, These are the three she retained, not a great photo, but was the best I had of all three. The DW is a bit quirky (her preferred word) and thinks she has to help them browse.

Kathyinmo, the fruit pizza sounds great, DW and I enjoyed the last video of your chickens, it got me off the hook as DW commented that, that's a lot of chickens, I of course said, no it's not, she's downsizing. lau.gif

ETA: I think downsizing is hard for most of us, we have someone coming over this afternoon to possibly buy my two favorite milker does. The potential buyer has dragged this on for close to two months.
