I have 7, 1 roos and 6 pullets, and the roo looked just like yours with the bigger comb the whole time growing up, and they are now around 4 months old

its a cockerel, nice large red comb, the coloring of the bird (although it looks more cuckoo than barred), and the wash down the front of its legs isnt dark enough, that wash does fade with time but on a pullet it will still be very dark with very little to no yellow showing

In those pics that you chose of hens to compare, they are full grown, mature hens.  Yes, they will have red combs and wattles..they develop as they get closer to egg laying and will get even darker red as they start to lay.  However, you will notice that they are smaller and more feminine.

 

Your little guy is way too young to be showing signs of redness and comb/wattle growth for it to be a pullet.  I'm sorry...it's a cockeral and I know that you don't want to believe it but, it's true hugs.gif
