We finally finished our Coop AND got our first Egg 1/1/16.  Coop size is  8 x 10 and the run is 8 x 12.  It works great for our 15 Chickens, they free range the entire back yard but when we are not home they have no problems with the coop and run space.   Although they prefer running the yard.   Finally finished the gate, and although the Best Little Henhouse in Texas is a little over used we couldnt resist.   The other gate is a door we got at an auction along with the awnings on the coop.   Re-purpose and re-use is the name of the game at our house!

$120 dollars and pallets from my husbands work, and a few things from around the house! We have our coop. We still want to pretty up the house with siding but it's functional right now. It's 13x5x 6 tall. It's nestled in the only shady spot in my front yard and houses my blue laced red wyandottes.

Hi! My awesome hubby built this coop for my 4 girls. He's a pretty handy guy. He attached it to his shed.
