I was wondering if these are desirable geese, I have the opportunit to hatch some but I do not wnat them so would hatch for others or sell the eggs, any one really want them?

Totally depends on the quality of the geese. There two distinct types of Toulouse, Production/Utility (found commonly at hatcheries) and Dewlap (found in grey and buff, with the best quality coming from private breeders).

the utility variety can be found on farms as well. we have two, great grazers they are. Not nearly as large and lovely as the dewlaps, but both have a purpose.

Do you know anything about the geese? Selling eggs not from your own stock and of unknown fertility isnt advisable. It is always best to sell what you breed, and know some background as well as fertility of the eggs being offered. Plus you will need photos of the breeding stock as they will be requested. Then there is the need to be tested (the breeding flock) before selling and shipping of any hatching eggs or live birds. NPIP participants will buy only from other NPIP tested flocks.

Great advice, thank you. I will not be doing this as I know nothing about what I am doing. I knew if I posted in here someone would steer me in the right direction.....THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH
