My friend has a neighbor who is an idiot and keeps buying birds having no CLUE about them. Unfortunately, I completely blow at any kind of ID. 

 

These were bought at a local city store, so if you can help, THX.

Still can't see it. Are you using the insert image button?

Whoa, did that work?? Looks like the same pic to me but I used the suggested (thank you!) insert function. 

 

Anyone know what kind of birds these might be?

The black one with the white spot is most likely a Barred Plymouth Rock. The red one is probably a Production Red.

 

It would help to identify if you got some closer shots of them from the side.
