Seven out of nine bantams from MPC made it out to West Texas safely. I ordered the clean legged bantam assortment, as I don't think the more heavily feathered breeds would do well in our heat. Here's their morning huddle:

I can pick out the WCBP chicks and I know most of the others are EE's, but I'm not too sure about a couple of favorites. Could you chime in with some guesses, please?

Here's Lily at 5 days (maybe a lighter colored EE)?

And this is Clover-I am totally new to chickens, so I have no idea what she is, except cute and very bold ;)

Helen: Daria, do you have to look at everything in such a negative light?

Daria: Could you possibly be referring to the harsh light of reality?

Married mother of 3 amazing kids, 2 boys and a girl. I love animals, I have 3 dogs, a dogue de bordeaux, a shih tzu and a goldie. I have recently got a kitten, he is an exotic short hair, a persian without all the hair. My new addiction, silkies. Awww!  Way too cute.  Mine came from MPC this past Tuesday and one of them is the assorted polish and two are assorted silkies.  I just went on to the MPC website and looked at every related photo to compare coloring and markings.  It looks like my 2 silkies are blue and the polish looks to be a white crested blue polish.  Looks like you have two polish, very similar to mine, maybe related?? big_smile.png Here's a picture of my little Phyllis:  700

Whats MCB? Can we have a link to see what breeds they are?

The first one I'm hesitant to guess, but so far grey EE is my guess

Bottom one is a 100% EE, typical coloring :) just a darker one

MPC is My Pet Chicken, and the link for their bantam assortment is posted above. I too thought Clover might be another EE, but her legs are a different color, so that threw me. Do their legs come in brown, too?

Thanks for replying =)

Hugapug, your Phyllis has got to be related to my Polish girls. They are too cute.

They can come in any color really :)

Ooooh MyPetChicken, sorry just we've never ordered and just use them fo rchicken info, I always forget they have chicks for sale!

Yes Clover is an EE tho

Lilly- She COULD be a quail antwerp belgian, but I'm unsure of the colors they carry so best bet is on EE. Show pics when they grow up!
