I am NO expert, but my guess is a Golden Sex-Link... But that is likely incorrect. :(
In terms of gender, if they are a Gold Sex-Link the males have a white dot on their head. However, if they are not golden sex-link we will need more info about their behavior. Roosters are more aggressive and territorial, where as hens are usually not. Roosters also tend to have bigger combs and whatever-you-call-the-piece-under-their-chin.
Obviously, if they lay eggs they are hens.
