Chicken Eyeglasses

Thread Starter

I know a lot of people are asking what the heck do Chickens need eye glasses well when I was growing up I found a small set of what looked to be eye glasses tucked away in the family Bible and I ask my Granny what this was well she told me of a government test that she was part of that tested these eye glasses on Chickens she normally vaccinated chickens but was ask to help with the fitting of the eye glasses on the Chickens.

These eye glasses were colored as to prevent the chickens from pecking each other cutting down on loss of product.

Here is some proof of what I am telling you.

The picture below shows something close to what I found in the Family Bible.

I hope this brings a smile to a few lips.

Saw it on TV the other night. Apparently those glasses are very collectable now and worth quite a lot of money.
