Finished New Coop!

Hi everyone,

My husband and I finished our first coop yesterday. We put our 13 day old ducklings outside and said goodbye to the messy brooder. They took to their first night like champs and today have been splashing around in their little pool. It's been a hot weekend, high 90's, but the coop is in the shade and the ducks go swimming when they're too hot.

The coop is filled with pine shavings and the run is coarse sand and river stones.

Here's some pictures and a little video. We really enjoy having these ducks!

That is a really nice duck house and run, and your ducklings are adorable. The only thing I couldn't see is if you had a cover of some kind over the top, or maybe you don't have preds that would climb or fly in?

That is a wonderful coop. I think I can see that the mesh is wrapped around the whole thing, including the roof. It looks nice and secure. Great job!!
