From the Rarest of Rare and Top Hat collection... need some help identifying the rest of the box!

But, show me a chicken that really truly is rare, ya know? Just doesn't really exist... I just know that they are more of your non-traditional (they're not Rocks, RIRs, Orps, etc.)
 
i would say sultans (black) i have been searching and searching for a black sultan and have yet to find one and even the whites are hard to come by that have good type and all...i dont see sultans anywhere's really :/
 
Sultans actually come in black? I thought only white... I have a white Sultan about 3 weeks old... No idea how good of type it will have or what not... Lol, just a hatchery bird!
 
i have only seen pics of black sultans but i'm trying to get some i just cant seem to find the blacks in the united states and these are like the only pics i can find of them.

Or, if you are looking for rare chickens: Jubilee Orpingtons, Mahogany Faverolles, true Croad Langshans, The Lamona... oh wait, this is my chicken wishlist....
 
Lol... I don't have a chicken wishlist really... Well, I wanted some crested, so the ornamental layer collection was the perfect fit.
 
I used to breed Sultans, they are royalty birds from Turkey, so they are a rare breed if that's what you'd like to call it.
 
Ok, so this thread is from 2012. The OP either knows by now what she had back then or doesn't even have them any more. But since it's been resurrected, if any one cares to know what bird number three is, it's a Red Cap. And yes, they are rare. On the endangered list.
