13 week Wyandotte Pullets or Roos? - Page 2

Pullets. You should have eggs in a month or so.

Well, the kittens aren't so cute anymore and the easter egger cockerels are in the freezer. Plus, I think offering them as "prizes" scared folks off! So, I'm still posting quotes, if you know it let me know. I'm very enamored of this new one, it may hang around for a while!

They look big for bantams, they grow slowly, so I would say they are young LF pullets. Give them some time big_smile.png.

Hug a hen! Silver Laced, Partridge, Partridge Bantam, Blue/Black/Splash and BLR Wyandottes...with more on the way!

What beautiful girls they both are! 100% girls I must add as well. The splash is very pretty and so is the GLW. I have Silver Laced and Red laced along with a BLR roo. I can't wait for their babies next year. My youngest hatched in March and isn't laying yet. Once they start going into the coop a lot and their wattles are larger and fully red then they will start laying. When you bend down to pet them and they squat for you then you'll know to start looking for eggs.

I dont have a rooster so am planning on buying eggs.  I am still looking for people locally who have blue orpingtons, SLW or Columbian Wyandottes.  I may have to buy on ebay though hmm.png
