Springfield Ohio Mini-Swap August 3, 2012 **UPDATED**

There are several of us BYCers who are planning to meet at the Fairgrounds in Springfield, Oh for a Mini-Swap August 3, 2012

 

Please post here if you are interested in joining us. This will be a 1 day event from around noon to 3 or 4pm. Any poultry or waterfowl welcome. Please post an idea of what you plan to bring. Trades & purchases both welcome. Bring your poultry-loving friends along as well.

 

We can even turn this into a potluck lunch if interested. Just list what lunch items you would like to bring. Everyone please bring their own table service. No alcohol permitted. A main dish & dessert, side dish or drinks would be great. If travel prohibits hot items, fresh fruits & veggies are always welcome. Please just try not to duplicate too many items.

I also have a source for peafowl & pheasants available. Here is what he has left. Any of these ordered MUST be prepaid by paypal so I can pick them up from him before the swap & bring them.

 

Peachicks 6-10 weeks old straight run:

4 India Blue chicks @ $45 each

2 White chicks @ $70 each

1 India Blue Blackshoulder @ $70

 

Peahens:

1 India Blue 17 month old @ $80

 

Peacocks:

3 India Blue 17 month olds @ $80 each

 

15 Red Gold Pheasants straight run 6-10 weeks old $35 each

OK...need to know what day works best for everyone. Rachel can't do Wed 1st & Michelle can't do Thursday 2nd. Fri, Sat or Sun are all fine with me. Which day shall we do...

Friday will work better for me than Saturday or Sunday cause hubby will be working and I won't have to deal with getting a call every hour wondering where I am.

I'll be there with DH. Don't worry he is equipped with chicken math skills. Do you think I could pass off a pair of pea chicks as chickens? wink.png

We did that with my friends DH with a emu chick, lol. I think he was a little suspicious lol.png
