Well... I attempted to put up a post here on my trip to Prince Edward Island..

 

But, couldn't get the photos to load up... so

I adore Ann of Green Gables, and your wonderful photos were very much enjoyed.  What a wonderful vacation for you.  Thank you. smile.png

I went to PEI for the 100th anniversary of the book and stayed in the cottages at Kindred Spirits. Did you walk down Lover's Lane at the house?

 

We took a horse and buggy ride along the Lake of Shining Waters across from house LMM cousin's house she lived at while she was writing the book. We also went to Avonlea village and took the same photos in the carriage, along with picking up a bottle of Raspberry Cordial. I got a picture with "Gil" too. Right before we left, we visited her grave and put flowers down.

 

Okay, now I'm in the mood and going to jump on the desktop to upload pictures. I just got the digital restoration dvds and all the books for my 21st birthday (yes, that is what I asked for...)

Sounds like we did much the same kind of "tour" as you.  I took a photo of a couple holding hands, walking ahead of us on Lover's Lane.  I attempted to post it up here, but, for some reason I am just getting a continuous "loading" circle when I try to post photos.  Oh well..,

We spent a week on the island and did a lighthouse tour of the island while going to the classic Anne destinations. Just wanted to add a few photos from the trip:
