hello all i am new to this site, cuz i just found it and i have had chickens for the past 6 years and love them they are so funny. the only problem im having is identifying the ones i have haha when we went into to get this last seasons batch of babies i took my mom and my two girls and they just started picking chicks. i do know i got three turkeys and only one is left (the male. his names dick) tom died when he was only three weeks old :( i think one of the hens sat on him. Hairyit ( yes thats how we spelled it) got out of the pen to look up at the hail, (their not to bright) a few days ago. i asked mom about them and about how long do turkeys live and she is a smartalec and said till november. im not eatting him!!!!!!! anyway i am getting ready to build my first chicken tractor for the two chickens i do know what they are cuz they are the smallest and they r my daughters bantums. ill keep u posted on how that goes it should be interesting. well have to go for now one of my hens has flown the coop to come get me and tell me its breakfast time.
