Putting eggs in the bator on July 25, does anyone wanna hatch along??? - Page 81

Boy, I tell ya -- they all look like their daddy! I can't for the life of me pick out the one from the partridge rock. Very friendly, and fast! They can scoot across that cage at light speed!

This was hatchling #1 -- he runs over as soon as I come near :-)

Eight more coming tomorrow from Meyer hatchery... what was I thinking? lol!

Carpe diem -- and if you can't, grab a chicken!

K, thats sound great. That is nice of the breeder. I wish the breeder I got eggs from would at least offer the eggs for free with me paying shipping. With 0 out of 0 eggs from her hatching I kind of think she should but, she hasn't offered. I am waiting to hear from her and hoping maybe I will have some eggs in about a week in a half. I think I am gonna write her again, I need to know whats going on with that. I really got enough babies but, we really wanted some of those Birchen Maran/ Tolbunts so I can't help trying again. Well if don't mind as soon as I get those eggs I will hatch along with you and if anything hatches I will be happy. big_smile.png

Sweety I am soooo sorry. I know I already said that but, that stinks. They probably got out from under the mom and got tromped in a stamped, birds can get freaked so easy and being it was LF they just got smooshed. I will be sending good thoughts your way that the little one will be okay. Does it seem to be doing better. fl.gif If your parents are okay with it maybe you should go to the local feed store or something and see if they have any new borns and buy one chickie to keep the other two company, just in case.

We still need to see some cute baby pics. wink.png

Good luck Sweety.

YAY I will be happy to hatch with you (just holler when you get your eggies!) And to expand on the further hooligan issue, Booger (the single Serama) is not so much a holligan herself as she is VERY opinionated. :D Move her, she braces her legs and body like a little kid having a fit. Touch her food or water to fill it, it's ON! Screaming till things are back to *normal*. :D I think she is going to be a very alpha bird The world revolves around her, obviously ;)

Woot Woot!!!!!!! ya.gif We need to see some cute baby Quail pics. Just curious what do you do with Quail? Are they pets? I know someone I think someone told me they use Quail to train hunting dogs because, they will always come home. I might be thinking of the wrong kind of bird. I was just interested though to know if they had a job or if they are pets. big_smile.png
