Congrats!! and how appropriate having Cayugas back in NY where they started. And awesome they made that long trip in great shape.

So cute! Something about cayuga ducklings make them look fuzzier than other ducklings. I remember the day after I hatched mine, they looked like fuzz balls on huge feet.

You'll need bigger bucket inside of a week! I remember how fast they grew. I felt like the grew 1-2 inches a night! 10 that's a lot. We just lost one of ours last week. Poor Rose....it was a breathing thing which I don't understand because I keep things so clean. She was just over a year old. I might pick up another if the chance comes.

I got some crested ducks 10 days ago. And I love my ducks. I have a little black crested that because she is the only black duck was an outcast, all the others are white. So I ordered a pair of female Cayuga ducklings as companions for her, becuase i think they are beautiful. They arrive this Thursday, special order through a great feedstore as 10 ducklings is too much for me, and I am very excited! I may try and get an extra duckling or 2 as they have 6 males and 6 females coming for me to choose from, lol.
