They are 10 weeks old. love.gif

I can't imagine life without my two poults now. They are incredibly friendly and LOVE to escort us back and forth from the house to the barn and vice versa. One of them decided to ride on the hood of the car when I went to bring food from the house to the barn. Crazy turkeys!

Thank you for all the condolences and all the support and donations given to help us rebuild. You are all so special to us.

Please READ my thread about FIRE SAFETY. Trying to save as many others from the little mistakes that cost me everything.

Wow they are stunning!!!! Such beautiful birds. If you can update pics as they age I would love to see the progression they make to adulthood. Im new to turkeys so I find their looks to be facinating.

I am a Wife and a Mother. We have 2 dogs, and our always growing flock of chickens(Barred Rocks, White Rocks, Silver Laced Wyandottes, Easter Eggers, Olive Eggers, Marans, Japanese Bantams, Silkies, Silver Laced Cochin, Silkie/EE crosses, and a Cream Legbar Roo). We also have Bourbon Red Turkeys!  And now Ducks!!! Soon to be arriving Nigerian Dwarf doelings.

Here they are at 2 weeks old. I got them at 10 days old. They could fly 8 ft when I got them, now they can fly and land on a 2 story barn roof.

Here is one of mine...not sure of the breed or sex. I've been told Eastern Wild by one guy and Bronze by another...also not sure if Tom or Hen. I got them in early July when they were a couple weeks old. I guess I'll see when they grow up!

They look like my Eastern Wilds, but they are much more developed then mine are, and mine were purchased in early June and were 10 days old. Maybe yours are older, or mine are stunted tongue.png (see bellow for images of my Eastern Wild - boys?)
