I posted a thread on here the other day about one of our chickens, We got her in april with her chicks, she did start laying for about 2 weeks, but she has recently stopped laying, she was being really quite and kind of staying on her own , someone suhhested she may be broody, but she is now acting really strange, she is bobbing her head every so often from side to side and standing with her wings slightly out. anyone any ideas? to our knowledge she is still eating and drinking, ??

What do you mean by bobbing her head?  Can you describe that in more detail?  Standing with wings slightly out means she is too hot, or has mites (I think).

If she has stopped laying all of a sudden she may be egg bound there are several threads about it do a search. This is an urgent problem that needs to be remedied quickly. I have never dealt with it personally.
