What should I DO?

There's a white bird here at the farm. Guessing, its a pigeon its bigger than most doves I've ever seen. It has a green fluorescent band on its foot. I've seen it around for quite awhile. But I just noticed the band two days ago. If I remember correctly it had a buddy but its now by itself.

I'm out of eggs. But I know where some brown ones are. I now raise big Ol' Honkin' Bob Whites & Layed back Coturnix. Pray For Rain In Texas!

Well, it's probably a white homing pigeon that's lost. If it has a band you could capture it and find the owner by the info on the band. Usually, if they are fine, they will fly of again. So that's probably what happened to his "buddy". and then there are always predators......

Someone died so you wouldn't have to, have you said thank you?

Well, I looked for the bird yesterday & it wasn't around. I hope it went home. I really don't need another bird to care for. I have 7 pens full of birds. But if I see it I will try & get it back to its owner if not  I guess one more won't hurt.

Yea, that's usually what happens. They rest up, and then head back home.
