how often do you clean your coop? - Page 2

I clean the coop every Saturday morning (change bedding).  I clean out the poop, rake the pen, and change water and fill food every day.  My girls free-range, but I like the area to be clean (I think they do too!)  - I actually enjoy the time I spend doing it and with them

Three great daughters, nine spoiled chickens, 3 rescued dogs, 3 rescued cats, an old beloved parrot, pond....and an amazing husband who just shakes his head!

I have a movable egg mobile called Fowl Play and I clean it out every morning because it has a wooden floor so I have too. But I have a winter coop and I only clean it once a year just after the chickens leave the coop and put it our compost pile for the garden. I don't have bedding for the floor in the movable coop only in the nest boxes.

Have 100 layers, 50 Plymouth barred rocks, 50 Rode Island Red, 300 broilers, 50 turkeys.
