Help! I think Mr fluffers is dying!

Several days ago there was a predator attack in my yard. No deaths, but several injuries, including Mr main man Mr Fluffers. He fought of the attack, and saved the girls. No serious injuries thoughts. Both girls who were attacked are fine. Mr. F just seemed a bit injured on his wing. When I caught him he did appear to have anything else going on. Today he did not come out of the coop. I looked in, he is hobbling, looks like he is crapping some blood, found that under his roost spot, and now he is hunkered down in the nest box. He is 3.5 years old, he is also molting. Has been wormed recently. Think internally injuries could be the culprit now just showing up?
At the very least, wipe the poop off your feet before getting in the car.

No one? I have given him a dose of poultry drench, set him by the feed, since he refuses to eat from my hand, not normal... He is drinking, but not eating.

I don't have much experience with stuff like that....but if I were you I'd take him inside where the lighting is better and look him

over really well. I'd also check his chest to see if it feels crushed or just...off.  Also, to try to get him to eat you can give him some

bread soaked in water. Hope that all goes well!!

A friend told me I was delusional. I almost fell off my unicorn.

I smile because I have no idea what's going on.  :D

My room is not messy, I simply have everything on display for everyone to see. Like a museum.

Well, his crop is/was empty. this chest feels firm otherwise... I could not even tempt him to eat egg yolks...

Nova,

We've only had one such serious attack but my sons flock has had several such attacks. I don't know the extent of your roosters injuries but I can honestly say I've seen chickens come back from serious injuries. They seem pretty darn tough, much more so than we might think. Keep giving him special attention and you might just doctor him back to a complete recovery.

I know this isn't the exacting advice you're looking for but it might help you some.

Tony

That's the plan. Its just distressing since I have lost several birds to unknown causes lately with the heat, that I worry I may be over looking something, especially with th blood. Its bright red, no poo in it. Just blood drops.

How is Mr. Fluffers doing now? Did he make it?

Mark 11:22-23

"Have faith in God," Jesus answered. "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.

No... he sadly did not. He hung on for quite a bit though. I kept thinking he was going to... The last night he was alive, he even got up on the roost on his own, and he hadn't done that for several days. He had some internal injuries from the coon attack that just wouldn't heal. He was on antibiotics for infect too. Poor guy. He survived a week and a half nearly...
