The Old Folks Home

Good morning sitting here with my coffee old coop is gone.
All my vine plants will be up there now.
For this morning I let the dogs out then went did the same for the birds.
Little scratch given to the birds.
Now my time for coffee.
i was able to clean the coop and run yesterday between storms. The Hens are very happy now!

I may can add a couple of flashlights to my tiller. Two of those LED ones that can go wide and long. One set to wide and one long and I should be able to see to till after dark and get done before the rains come back Friday. Just because I'm old doesn't mean I can't think of a better way to get stuff done.

My Mom was a home economics teacher. So I learned to sew early. Once when I was little, I cut a chunk of fabric out of one of my Mom's dresses to make clothes for my troll. Well, the trolls should have some clothes too!
I had these things called Calico Critters. So did my older sister. (Yes, they were "girl" toys but I loved playing with them nonetheless). Well, one day CCsGarden, my slightly younger sister, decided, in five year old brilliantness, that the brand new "sheets" that came with the new house that I had gotten as a present would be great for Calico underwear. The critters have no underwear, but they do have clothes (there are toilets for them...). The underwear didn't work. Especially when I caught her with the scissors and my brand new toy.

In case anyone is wondering, she got in trouble. I never had anyone try to make underwear for toys with my stuff ever again.

Gosh you sound a lot like me! I set my headphones on my office chair when I get up to leave, like 100 times I'll come back and sit on them. Well doh!
My headphones get stuck on this thing that sticks out of my chair. I constantly get them yanked off my head or out of the laptop. I think I may have almost dropped said laptop because of that before.

Good evening old folks. I wanted the day off but the proverbial ox was in the ditch. I should have put gloves on this morning. I totally forgot how bad a tiller can put blisters on the palm of hands after a few hours of non stop sod busting.
I had to clean a ditch this morning.

We have irrigation ditches here and they need to be cleaned for water to go through.
