One of the favorite recurring themes on Mythbusters has been "busting" MacGyver. Some of the builds have been found to be plausible, but the writers, well, didn't always let simple things like physics get in the way of a plot device. ;)

I love mythbusters, but I think that I have only seen it once.

Or took High school chemestry.

Everyonce and a while some joker would scatter magnesium on the lawn...  when the sprinklers went of it sounded like machine gun fire.

Course that was in the late sixties.

and Yep I know how an atomic bomb works.

and a pretty nasty poisonous gas can be made "with house hold chemicals in the right proportions"

Bert Gummer, quote from the movie Tremors.  And true.

Speaking of Amazon....

Got some solar fairy lights to deck the coop and run with.  They're brighter than anticipated.  The girls are going to have some perpetual moonlight for the holiday season.... Maybe it'll kickstart a few extra eggs!

Thanks for the tip Ron.  I'll be heading over to Amazon.

It's all fun and games until the entire flock is dead because of poor biosecurity practices.

I never get weird looks from them either!

I bought a box of scalpels and I use them for processing.
