"Quit" drinking coffee mainstream back in 2000 when I retired from the Navy. While on active duty, it was pretty much a staple. I still drink some occasionally... normally if I'm out for breakfast or with dessert after a particularly good meal, but too much and I get severe acid reflux. Like you SCG, I'm now a tea drinker and go through a box of 100 bags in less than a month. What's your "go to" tea of choice? My fave is Red Rose.
I stopped smoking (never was able to quit - brain thing... trained to never quit, never give up) back in September 2010, so just passed my 5 year anniversary. Now I look back and can't believe I ever smoked, let alone for over 40 years... and the money that habit burned up. When I stop for gas and see the price for a pack or carton today I'm amazed that folks still pay that. If I were still smoking what I was when I quit, it would be costing me $300+ a month! not to mention the now indisputable health issues/damage they cause. I'm NOT a rabid anti, but I can now smell it on people and in places even hours afterwards. It's not an enjoyable smell at all anymore.
