I guess being way up north, you have a thing about the cold and would prefer the heat... I've never been a huge fan of heat... can only take off so many clothes, then you're like Bama; a speedo wearing, lawn mowing, redneck sorta guy... still hot, still sweating At least with cold, you can always add another layer.
Key to heat is not undress but dress properly.... Cotton and loose fitting is best. Including underwear.... and just like in the chicken coop air circulation.... Ventilation.... get the humidity out....
I am an Open the door and window and shut the screen kind of gal.... especially with a swamp cooler. You open the window or door in the room you want cool then fire it up. I am good to 110 degrees even.... though I lay low during that kind of heat.
But at 70 degrees I need a sweater or light jacket if I am not doing any work of any kind.
