Agree with you about olive oil, there is nothing better than fresh baked, piping hot fresh bread or crispy, crunchy rolls dipped in EVOO. We buy our EVOO in 3 liter cans, it is first press and from Italy. Cost about $19, depending. Considering you can pay that much for a small bottle, it's a great deal. Can get it at our regular grocery (usually on the bottom shelf FYI) or the co-op, and they have quite a few brands. Just be careful that you pick out the EV and not plain old OO. Lasts for months, we just keep in a cool, dark cabinet and pour some into a ketchup type bottle for daily use. Saves boo-koo $$$ too. Adding some spices or seasonings to your dipping oil is good as well, you can do that ahead and keep it in a little carafe or any sealed jar, the longer it sits, the better it gets. Have fun experimenting! And yes indeed, those Amish butter rolls are soooooo good, sure we could make it ourselves if we were so inclined. Used to get it at our co-op for about $6, but over the past months, the price has gone up and up and up to where we can't afford it, well over $12 now. Oh well, will have to get out the churner...

I love the berries--low carb.
