help, Adams Flea and tick dip

I am new to chickens and unfortunately 3 of the 8 chickens I bought came from a not so reputable person and they have bad case of mites/lice.  I read in here to use Adams flea and tick dip.  While I was dipping my chickens, 1 of their heads went under the solution.  I immediately washed her head with clear water.  Now she has a rattle to her breathing,  Note that she was sneezing a lot before this happened.  Please can someone help me.

Yeah, it's unfortunate, we can't always keep their little heads from going under, we just do the best we can.  It wouldn't hurt to do some water soluable antibiotics to clear up the chest.

Say, btw, make sure it is nice and hot out when you do that.  Start early in the day so they don't have to go to bed wet.  If the hen you are concerned about is still wet, you might want to blow dry her.  Trembling isn't a good sign.  It needs to be a nice hot day.

Thank you, yes it is very hot out today and I will make sure that she is nice and dry before she goes to bed.

Most pet supplies and feed stores will at least carry Duramycin (I believe it's called).  Check the directions for poultry dosages.
