I NEED Rooster Pics and Art!!

Our family is begining a new enterprise, and we are looking for some nice pictures of roosters AND other poultry!! Chickens, geese, quail, peacocks, swans, etc..

What we need are pictures we can reproduce on labels of our product. We havent decided wether we are going to use 'real' roosters, or fake (drawings) yet. So, if you have pics you arent using, or are handy with drawing, please post the ones we can use in this thread.

We are home based and on a in incredibly limited budget, so we cant offer compensation for pictures or submissions you send. (other than bragging rights, which we have no problem acknowleging!) We DO ask that the pictures NOT be copywrited, and are actually your own to give.

We do want the breed to be pure and representative of the breed portrayed. We would prefer JUST the roo in the picture (no other poultry), and that it be a full body shot, showing off the tails and combs.

We are looking for the more popular breeds, but are considering a few of the lesser knowns as well. 

Im sure you are all curious as to what our product is....but, I cant say yet! We are working on patenting the product as well as working on prototypes and web-sites. I can say we plan to have a place on our site encouraging people to visit BYC!

We have always enjoyed BYC and have been here for years learning and sometimes laughing and always found encouragement and help when we needed it. We are sure hoping the trend will continue here!

So, PLEASE- show off your pretty roo's and your amazing talents, and maybe YOUR roo will grace the front label of our new product!!

And if anyone knows of a good place to get free art like we are looking for, please message me and let me know!

Id LOVE some quail pics!! I am thinking of using other poultry as well, so if anyone has good pics of individual birds, quail, ducks, swans, geese, peacocks, etc.. I will definatley need them too!

Just please be sure to use NON-copywrited pictures, and be aware that posting the pics here in this thread constitutes your agreement to our using the picture/image for our business and that you are not expecting any compensation for that use. However, I will acknowlege the pictures' creator here on BYC, and am considering a way to direct attention to BYC on our product, which will also help identify the owners of the animals in the pictures.

I would also LOVE to have any hand-drawn or computer generated art of all poultry. If you are a begining artist, I would love to see your work! We are NOT sticklers for perfection in any way! Our line is kinda country-ish, so imperfections are actually more realistic!

Got an artistic kid at home?? Maybe they would like to draw something for us? Imagine their delight when they can tell everyone 'their' art is on a product that sells throughout our country!!!

We are still working on what we want our product to look like, so, dont hold back! Funny, serious, proud, abstract- its ALL welcome! we want our customers to LIKE what they see, so we need YOUR input!

Awesome! I really like those pics of the adult quail! I forgot how beautiful they are!

What kind are they again? California Valley quail? I do want to be able to put a name with the picture, so people know what the bird is.
