There are so nice little chickens here, but my main concern is fat girl! Fat girl is the barred rock in this pic. She was sold to us as a girl. She is hatchery quality. She has such big feet and is getting saddle feathers. Someone said that they think that she has hackle feathers too. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me that fat girl is actually a fat girl. If she is a he that means that of the 4 girls that we got from Meyer Hatchery 3 of them were roosters :( We love fat girl and wanted nice eggs from her. Is it possible that because she is from a hatchery she is just not normal. Also, she has a lot of black and not as much white. She also has black down the front of her legs. I want this to be my fat girl! Let me know! She is the only full size chicken in this picture. She is about 16 weeks old here. No noise from her yet.
