i have gold stars and was wondering if ya can have them cooped up with other breeds?

Sure, I have over 20 breeds all together and they do fine.  Just know that if  you have a different breed of roo and hens go broody then you might end up with some mutts.  Although, I once created one of the best breed ever by crossing an EE and a Phoenix.  I got 4 muffless, blue legged, short, stout birds that lay blue eggs.  I don't know if it would work again but they are some of my favorites.big_smile.png  So sometimes mutts are good.

did ya put them all together at first or add some later

They are all different ages, so they have just been added once they are old enough to not get hurt, about 3 or 4 months.
