Roo correct?

Has not done ANY traditional roo characteristics...altho; we did have about 4 other Roos who were very dominant...

We butchered the 4 dominant roos...

have one definite Roo left (giving him a stay of execution for this week, see how he behaves)...but this one, was in the nest box the other day...doesnt crow, doesnt flog, doesnt mount...but obviously with 39 hens, we can't pinpoint an egg to that particular nest box either...

soooo I'm leaning towards Roo...just due to the droopy feathering....(dang..its my ONLY GL one too..and sold as a pullet)..

Goodnight sweet prince, may angels sing thee to thy rest :P

Edit to answer OP's second question:  Yes, you have a submissive roo who is keeping his head down and his nose clean so as not to invoke the wrath of the dominant roo.  He's probably been mating the hens when no one is looking.

To be honest, I'd be keeping him to see if he blossoms when there arn't any bullies around, and stewing the aggressive ones.
