how long have you had the chickens?

If you just recently got them then your Roo might just be suffering from change. Chickens can often get very upset stomachs when feed it changes drastically.

HI, this morning I saw the green band crow so I guess the mystery for him is done. I just took pictures of the remaining blue and orange band birds. I have now had these birds a week with no eggs and one crowing. They all three attack, bite and relentlesly peck my 7 week old cornish x breeds.

Blue Band is most diffidently a rooster, just look at those tail feathers!

I still think the orange band is a pullet.

Yep, kinda what I was thinking. I also went out and looked over the orange band and am beginning to really doubt that it is a pullet. Although it is a little smaller and has smaller comb and waddles. I think it is just a week or two younger than the others. The tail feathers are just beginning to stick up and grow longer.

looks like I payed 10.00 each for roosters.

my cross meat birds will be ready for processing very soon and I am going to harvest the barred rocks too.

I think I am going to seek out a good breeder and buy older pullets from them next time. No more buying local just to try and be loyal and getting ripped off.

Thanks Darkligstorm, I appreciate the help---------
