I wanted to know how many months old would a Golden Pheasant be considered an Adult? Is it 2 years or is that just when they get their full coloring on their feathers.
They will lay the first spring after they hatch. I guess you could consider them adults then. The male will be partially colored at that time but will get his full color at 2 years. Hope this helps.

Thank you deserthotwings,
So they are adults once they reach a year old, correct?
That is correct. If your birds were hatched this last spring (March thru May of 2012) they should be laying this next spring of 2013. About 80 percent of hens lay their first year. Good Luck Ameigo
