how long does it usually take for quail eggs to hach?

Approx 17-18 days for coturnix, buttons may be less, not sure about others, I've just had 2 coturnix hatch on day 17! though they do usually hatch on day 18 for me smile.png

my chinese quails have taken 19-20 days, just about given up on them & they decided it was time to show their beaks!

thank you for the info i have one more question after they hach what do the eat and how long do i have to wait till i can put them in with the older ones?

Just give them gamebird crumble.  I usually use the bowl and fill about 1-2" and shake it.  And then scoop 1/2 on top off.  I feed then the smaller pieces at the bottom of the bowl for 1st week.  You can put them with adult when they are about the same size.
